The town is normal and it has everything like both good and bad events. Sergeant Malikov hazes first years solders and all know about it. Malikov is unable to endure dirty linen in public. Investigator comes to town investigating case of theft of the forest on a large scale. There is illegal logging in the area surrounding the military unit location. This is serious for all as the scope is very large and involved a lot of money and dangerous criminal personality. The investigator asks for help in uncovering the criminal chain. He does trace leads to the military town. Forest is a strategic raw material for military to cover their overhead costs.
